about
Sirius Orion Black
Black Sheep.
I'm Sirius Black, but you probably already knew that. I am the most attractive of the Marauders, and the Gryffindor Beater.
More Quidditch with Poppy and Sirius.

Poppy rolled her eyes at his easy answer. It really seemed as though nothing really got him angry or annoyed, and accusations were just accepted as fact. It was something different from everyone else. She was sure she’s seen everyone mad, but Sirius. That’s something that might be interesting. Maybe, she thought to herself.

“He’s supposed to be a slave driver, it’s his job. How else do you expect for your teammates, and yourself, to get better?” She countered, her eyes glancing up at the boy before returning to the book.

Oh the glory of being able to multitask…

“Sirius Black, I am offended at the accusation!” She replied, hey eyes widening and mouth moving exaggeratedly. “—This book would never, ever, have a single sex scene or even a kiss!”

“—And for your information, this is neither rubbish nor girly romance. It has romance in it, obviously, but it’s not mainly about that.” She added on, knowing that Sirius would probably not believe her. She wouldn’t believe herself in all honesty. However, she was surprised that Sirius read a book, even if it was five chapters.

“You read five chapters? Sweet Merlin, that must have killed you! Though I’m sure if Lily hears about you calling her books rubbish she will put you out of your misery.”

Sirius smiled at the girl. He liked Poppy, but sometimes she really could be too James when it came to Quidditch. He was always amused by it, and Sirius enjoyed Quidditch enough that it wasn’t a problem at all. ”I have no problem with James being a tyrant, but I,” Sirius pointed at himself, “don’t need to be. The whole point of having a Captain is so that there’s someone to get on everyone else’s ass.”

He waved his hand dismissively as the brunette next to him ranted about how her book really wasn’t girly. Sirius was enjoying getting Poppy worked up about her reading selection, especially when he was absolutely positive he was correct. “It’s not a big deal, Poppy. Everyone reads girly books. Hell, I just admitted that even I did so once.”

Sirius let out an exasperated sigh. “I’m bored, ignore your book and tell me about something interesting.” He rearranged his legs, switching so his left leg was propped up on his right. Forgetting his comment, Sirius went back to the topic of Pride and Prejudice. “If it’s not about romance, what is it about?”

Looking for Trouble || Peter and Sirius

pap-wormtail:

Peter allows himself a single snort of laughter. Pulling the Blood Pop out of his mouth, he looked to his good friend and smirks. “Why not just sweet-talk her, then? Thought you were supposed to be a lady-killer, Padfoot.” Peter pulls off a loose thread from his robes and lengthens it with his wand, putting it in his book to mark the page. “Just a bit of reading. I took a personal day and stuck around here.” He leaned forward, popping the sweet back in his mouth. “Lily said something about a Patrick fellow you’re not keen on. You want to tell me more?”

Peter patted his pockets for something to toss to Sirius and pulled out a cauldron cake. He throws it underhand to Sirius, leaning forward. “There was something about the Valentine’s Day Ball and Emmeline, but all I heard was that you’ve got a target for a big-time prank.” he says, a mischievous grin creeping onto his visage. It’s been far too long since we’ve had something big to do. he thought, I haven’t been to detention is a while.

Sirius shrugged. It was nice to have someone listen to him complain, and of course the Fat Lady was irritating, but it wasn’t worth the effort to smooth talk a portrait. “Eh, I’m not worried about it. What’s she going to do? Lock me out of Gryffindor tower?” The moment the words left his mouth, Sirius was instantly aware that the Fat Lady actually could do that. “On the other hand, I’m sure she would appreciate some attention…”

Sirius grinned at Peter before crossing his arms behind his head. “A personal day sounds nice, but I think I’ve already missed quite a lot of class since we got back from break.” He saw the movement out of the corner of his eye and removed one hand to catch what Peter tossed in his direction. He snatched the cauldron cake out of the air and slowly opened it up as he reflected on the events of the Valentine’s Day Ball. Sirius broke off a small corner of the sweet and ate it just as slowly as he had opened the package. “Yeah, Patrick.” he said sourly. Sirius was sure that Peter could clearly read the distaste on his face, so he didn’t try to lie about it.

vancypants-emmy:

A half smile made its way onto Emmeline’s face as she relaxed back against the couch. Although she wasn’t a particular romantic person either, like him, she had to admit, his words did make sense in what she thought had to have a whole second meaning to it. Snap out of it, Emm, she told herself sternly. Now pull yourself together for Merlin’s bloody sake.

She turned to him, her mouth starting to part to say something before she heard him ask, “Emmeline. Would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me? I think the trip is in a few weeks.” She gulped, her fingers suddenly playing with the hem of her collared shirt. All of a sudden, she found herself to be nervous and yet giddy at the same time.

She struggled to keep on a calm facade, stroking Sebastian’s back repetitively as she contemplated her decision. “…Maybe,” Emm finally answered, although she wanted so desperately to say yes. “So, Black, give me one good reason why I should go to Hogsmeade with you and not with some other bloke?” She cocked an amused eyebrow, her dark blue eyes watching him.

If Sirius was prone to blushing, that’s what would’ve happened as he continued to hold Emmeline’s gaze. He fidgeted his feet in an attempt to dispell the nervous energy building up in him. Sirius broke eye contact to look at Sebastian, seated in Emmeline’s lap. He forgot the specific conversation he was having for a moment and shot back a typical Sirius reply. “Because I am Sirius Black.”  he said with a confident smirk.

Once again, as soon as the words were out of his mouth, he regretted them. He stared at the top of Sovay’s head and smoothed the baby’s hair repetitively. After a moment of gathering his thoughts, he looked back to Emmeline and spoke once more. “I don’t know what reason to tell you, if you don’t want to go just say so.” All of his previous ideas about making it hard for her to say no had flown out of his mind.
